Using the RadioControlli STARTER KIT you can test and verify all the functionality of the WSN architecture,  whatever the type of transceiver chosen for the application.

Is a complete architecture of a Wireless Sensor Network sub 1GHz (868 Mhz) immediately and easily manageable via UART from a Host and various types of hardware (transceiver) that you can use.

The main features of :

1) Low-consumption technology integrated. 
2) High transmission power 20dBm (100mW) with the possibility to transmit up to 27dBm (500mW) in the band plan  established by the regulations CEPT / ERC RE70-03. 
3) Possibility of choosing the most appropriate hardware according of the system to be developed
4) Specific radiofrequency skills are not required to begin to control an manage  a WSN.

Evaluation board "SENSORE" description :

 

Power Jump  

Closing the jumper (side VBAT) the sensor will be powered by battery.

Reset This button is used to reset the Sensor.
Serial interface Serial interface (use with the adapter  supplied with the Starter kits ).
DIN1,DIN2,DIN3,DIN6 These buttons are used to simulate the three digital inputs with interrupt.
DIN4,DIN5 Switch used to simulate the digital meter.
ADC1,ADC2,ADC3 Potentiometers used to simulate the analog inputs .
OUT1,OUT2,OUT3  Bicolor LED used to simulate the implementation of the three digital outputs
LED1 Green blinking  = ACK = OK  transmission and reception
  Red blinking  = Transmission done but with no any  ACK received

 

Evaluation Board GATEWAY Description :

 

Transceiver utilizzato         : RCS1KSMT-868 RadioControlli

Antenna Antenna 868 with SMA connector.
Power Jump This button is used to reset the transceiver.
Reset Switch that allows you to bring the gateway in configuration mode.
Serial Interface  Serial interface (use with the adapter  supplied with the Starter kits ).
SET Switch that allows you to bring the gateway in configuration mode.
LED1 Green blinking = Data received OK and ACK trasmitted  
Green fixed = Data received butimpossible to transfer on serial interface.
